New Section!

Hey guys, Happy New Year!

I realize it's been some time since I posted anything, but I have added a brand new section to the site, containing live concert shots of some of my favorite musicians. As you may know from my biography, music has been a big part of my life, and concerts serve as opportunities to have a live interaction with a band whom you've previously only connected with sonically. I've attended many shows over the years, and I'm excited to share some of those experiences with you guys.

My ultimate concert photography goal is to photograph my favorite band HIM. I've seen them perform so many times but never took any serious shots. One day.

Art is Trash

This is one of the things I love about NYC: freedom of expression. The streets are outdoor art galleries. I found this particular exhibition on Crosby Street on my way to work. I don't know who the artist is, but I don't think he/she is concerned about being recognized.

There's an old, abandoned elevator outside the door to my work building that's also covered in artwork. However, there is a local artist who apparently leaves free paintings at this elevator every Friday. A coworker was lucky enough to score a pretty big art piece last week before someone else found it.

I think street art might be the theme for my next photography project.
